parisan dream

City of love, fashion, and food. How can one city encompass it all?

Before my short 5 day trip to Paris earlier in October (2015),  I made HAVE TO TASTE list of restaurants and cafes. These comprised of pizzerias, artisan boulangeries, patisseries, and chocolatier shops. Paris has a history rich in excellent French cuisine. But the meals I had there ranged from Italian, Spanish, Mediterranean, etc. Additionally, if you know me- I love pastries and bread. And this is where Paris takes the cake. Nothing beats a fresh croissant and my exposure to “fresh croissants” is limited to Costco’s selection and the occasional visit to Porto’s.

The pictures below encompass all the delicious food I got to try.
Buratta @ East Mama  Pizza – Mammagherita Dop @ East Mama
Red is Dead – Bruschetta @ East Mama  Pasta Fresca – Bresaola E Spinaci @ East Mama
Selection of Macaroons @ Ladurée Chocolatier Shop @  Jacques Genin
  Chocolates @ Jacques Genin

  Foie Gras
